Golden Retriever Adopts Baby Lamb, Is a Better Human Than I Am

I guess something good can come out of Canada, after all (says the hypocrite from the state that brought you @_floridaman).

Several days ago, CTV News covered the story of an a-dor-a-ble little lamb that was “adopted” by a golden retriever after its mother rejected it. The golden retriever, Tammy, started mothering the lamb, Stormy, and the rest is history! They chase each other around the yard, Tammy grooms Stormy, and they cuddle up together on the porch. Those two make me want to be more like a dog who is kind instead of a human who is vindictive.

Tammy don’t care that she is a dog and Stormy is a lamb. It doesn’t matter that they are part of different species or from different mothers. Tammy just saw a need and met it.

She is helping those in need; she is living altruistically. Tammy is not a schemer. She is not self-involved. I want to be more like Tammy. And also I would like to have a sweet baby lamb.
