There is a hero walking among us. Whenever there is trouble somewhere, he is there to lend a helping hand. Wherever there is evil, he is there to combat it. Whenever there is … OK, none of that is true. He’s just some guy making Vines and messing with his family. But he is … BatDad!

Like every superhero, BatDad was once a normal person like the rest of us. One day, however, that all changed. Out shopping with his family, Blake Wilson came across a Batman mask that transformed him from an average Atlanta dad into BatDad.

“When I first got Vine i tried doing the typical ‘try to be funny’ stuff, and it actually drove my family kinda nuts,” Wilson told BuzzFeed in an email. “I decided to stop doing that and just have fun with them by doing this BatDad stuff. My wife thinks its hilarious and my kids sometimes do (depending on their moods lol).”

Well, actually, your wife doesn’t seem like she thinks it’s as funny as you think she does. But don’t let that stop you. The world needs BatDad.
