Hippos don’t get enough respect for how terrifying they are. People respect snakes and lions and bears for being terrifying. Sharks get a whole week of respect. But not hippos.

Hippos should get more respect, because they are terrifying. Here, watch this hippo tear through the water and lunge at, but just miss, a speedboat.

As I was saying, it’s time we all gave the hippos a little more respect.
