Summer isn’t the best time for your average sports fan. With basketball, soccer, and hockey all in their respective offseasons, there just aren’t many viewing options to choose from. Sure, there’s plenty of baseball to watch, but unless you’re the hardcore baseball type, the MLB doesn’t really get all that interesting until about the end of August. Major League Soccer is also an option, but, unlike baseball, it’s often difficult to find more than one game a week on TV if you live in a market without a professional team.
Those days are over though, friends. I’m pleased to introduce you to bubble football, which is brought to you by our friends in Italy. This will be sweeping the country in no time. Your move, ESPN.
