If you’ve followed the NBA at all over the past couple of years, you’ve probably witnessed Chris Bosh screaming in celebration at some point. You’ve probably also seen said scream in slow motion. In case you haven’t, here’s an example. And another.
So yeah, the Boshasaurus tends to get a little excited at times. But on Sunday when the Miami HEAT played the San Antonio Spurs, something magical happened.
With Lebron James and Dwyane Wade sitting the game out, it was up to Bosh to take the last second shot to win the game. When Bosh sank the three ball, he let out one of his patented screams. Only this time, instead of being captured in slow-motion, it was captured by the NBA’s Phantom camera: a camera that captures videos in super-slow-motion high-definition.
ALL MY SCREAMS HAVE FINALLY COME TRUE.
First off, the music in the above video great. If you didn’t know any better, you’d swear Jaws was about to burst through the floor and devour Tiago Splitter.
Then, the music transitions to a hip-hop beat as we see a frantic Tim Duncan trying to close out on a wide-open Bosh. But it’s too late for the Spurs power forward as Bosh’s trey hits nothing but net.
After some awkward hand gestures, Bosh makes this face:
Yeah, I could see how that could scare some small children.
Still mid-scream, Bosh is mobbed by his teammates.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Mike Miller happier.
You did that Chris Bosh.
Yes, you did.
